As with The Longest Journey, I just finished Dreamfall. I actually did better about remembering what was going on than I thought I would. It was as cool as I remembered it being (that being not as cool as TLJ was, but still pretty cool). I finished The Longest Journey, for what was probably the fourth or fifth time, about an hour ago or so. I have since installed Dreamfall, and played a tiny bit of it to make sure it works without needing to perform some arcane hoodoo. Yep, I'm going to stick with doing this for a while. This one will be like the first one, with the current game that I am playing, epic track, old-school track setup.

Ok, I just finished Dreamfall.

The ending, if you can even call it such, is about as satisfying as the ending of... say... Soul Reaver: The Legacy of Kain (the first game)... or Shenmue (both 1 and 2)... or, hell, frickin' Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

Just finished The Longest Journey a few minutes ago. As has happened all of the other times I've finished this game, the ending kinda depressed me, because I was all like, crap, I want to keep playing...

...but then I remembered that tomorrow I'll be starting on Dreamfall and I wasn't depressed anymore.

Made it to the start of Chapter 4 in The Longest Journey tonight. Heck, at this rate, I may actually finish it tomorrow and can then start on Dreamfall immediately afterward.

Dreamfall, the sequel to The Longest Journey (which is, in my opinion, the best classic-style adventure game to date), has been delayed until Spring 2006. Le sigh. Though mucho disappointing in the short term, if they use this time to make the game that much better as they say in the press release, I'm sure the wait will be worthwhile.
